today we slept in - my back is still bothering me a LOT. but i updated the "movies" page by combing through my letterboxd for the movies i've seen in the past five years that i consider my favorites, or ones i really enjoyed. i'll continue to update that page as i watch more movies!
i watched cameraman's revenge (1912) again - this is one i've been wanting to show my husband for some time. it's a russian stop-motion short about an adulterous couple, played by the corpses of two beetles. it's one of my favorites (#3 on the list so far, actually!) because of how goofy and bizarre it is, but also how lovingly the entire production is put together.
